Job Details

The Senior Technical Consultant is a SyteLine developer with 5 plus years of experience who provides billable services to customers in support of their SyteLine system.

Depending on skillset, a Technical Consultant may also provide other development or technical services, unrelated to SyteLine.

Required Experience: More than 15 years of experience in customizing SyteLine ERP, INFOR CSI, connecting to the cloud with .Net, AWS, or similar. Some coding may be needed.

Preferred Experience: More than 10 years of experience in SyteLine or INFOR development and customization.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering services to customers via requirements gathering, analysis, solutions formulation, specification documentation, project estimations, development, testing, debugging, and project delivery.
  • Determining customer requirements is critical.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Microsoft .NET technologies (T-SQL, VB.Net, SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Technical degree
  • ERP system basic knowledge
  • Consulting experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility with simultaneous projects
  • Strong customer service attitude
  • Strong self-motivation, but able to ask for help
  • High standards for self and work
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
  • High energy level and persistence

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • Ability to travel, as required, in the most efficient or cost-effective mode (onsite customer work, internal meetings, customer meetings, sales support). Typical travel: 25% (may vary).
  • Valid driver's license
