Join the Research Strategy Team at AlphaSense as a Technical Writer. Successful candidates will excel in written English communication. Experience in capital markets or finance is a plus.
What You'll Do:
- Write and edit product literature, including internal and external user guides for FinData APIs.
- Meet with engineers, programmers, and product managers to learn about products/processes.
- Write and edit technical documents (reference manuals, product manuals, user guides, manuals).
- Understand audience needs to tailor tone and technical terms for clarity.
- Plan writing processes and tasks, set timelines.
- Create diagrams, charts, and visual aids.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders/customers for document improvement.
Who You Are:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong writing and grammatical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to present complex data concisely.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Ability to edit and proofread.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, English, Business or related.
- 5–10 years of technical writing experience with complex technical documentation.
