Full-Time Senior UX/UI Designer with German

Our client operates prominently in the financial sector, enhancing operations across their extensive network of 150,000 workstations and supporting a workforce of 4,500 employees. Their IT solutions ensure streamlined processes and heightened security.

The project involves a range of applications addressing banking and user interactions, focusing on developing, monitoring, and analyzing application interface data and program efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Design human-centered solutions: Design solutions meeting user needs and business goals across devices.
2. Ensure design standards: Adhere to accessibility and usability standards in a banking context.
3. Understand User Needs and business goals: Conduct user research and discovery activities to identify user and business requirements.
4. Validate Design Solutions: Develop wireframes, validate solutions, and conduct validation sessions with teams/stakeholders/users, iterating based on feedback.
5. Apply a consultancy mindset: Understand client goals and business contexts, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and facilitate ideation sessions.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with Product Owners to assess requirements, translate into prototypes/user flows/wireframes/designs, collaborating with the development team to ensure an intuitive user experience.
7. Work with complex design systems: Collaborate with layered design teams to propose new patterns and perform quality checks.
8. Communicate design decisions and insights: Summarize insights, capture workshop results, and tailor communication to diverse audiences.
9. Mentor and lead design initiatives: Provide guidance to peer designers, share best practices, conduct design reviews, and manage stakeholder activities.

Must Have:

• 5+ years UX/UI design experience
• Expertise in user research, interaction design, and prototyping tools
• Deep knowledge of usability, accessibility standards, and human-centered design principles
• Strong facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder engagements
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in multicultural environments
• Experience across various ways of working and project complexities
• Strong analytical judgment, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in German and English

Nice to Have:

• Banking/insurance/financial project experience
• Multi-device interaction model and ecosystem experience
• Experience in highly matrixed organizations or large-scale corporate environments
• Active contribution to design communities
