We’re seeking a Director of Product Design to lead vision and execution for our Growth and Engagement teams.
These teams are responsible for crafting and optimizing the critical first experiences members have with our products, as well as driving ongoing member activation and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a Member Growth and Engagement vision and strategy in collaboration with your cross-functional leaders.
- Balance driving transformative initiatives with experimentation and iteration to drive engagement and retention.
- Oversee the creation of compelling, intuitive user experiences that drive growth metrics.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, as well as run A/B experiments.
- Lead and mentor a high performing team of product designers and cross-functional partners.
- Report findings and updates to stakeholders. Engage with executives to discuss opportunities, prioritization, tradeoffs, and risks.
- Collaborate with teams across Marketing, GTM, Clinical, Member Advocacy, Finance, and General Management.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years in product design, with at least 5 years as a leader.
- Experience guiding teams to create simple, intuitive and innovative solutions.
- Proven ability to attract and retain top design talent.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and rapid prototyping methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI and Gen AI product development.
- Familiarity with personalization strategies and user segmentation.
- User-focused mindset, driven by data and research.
- Proven track record of fostering a culture of experimentation and innovation.
- Experience collaborating with Marketing teams.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Skilled at navigating complex product ecosystems.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, risk, and change.
- High ethical standards and mission alignment.
- (Valued) Experience leading direct-to-consumer businesses.
- (Valued) Background in health/fitness or healthcare products.
Compensation:
US$174,320 - US$320,099 + equity + benefits (details based on zone).
