About the Role: We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Senior Director / Head of Product Operations to elevate the way we invest in and manage our product strategy. Reporting to the SVP of Product, this leader will be responsible for establishing and optimizing our product operations function, ensuring we are making data-informed, customer-centric investment decisions. You’ll be a key member of AlphaSense R&D leadership team and a primary thought partner for our executive leaders in defining our product strategy across short and long time horizons.
Who You Are: 12+ years of experience in business strategy and operations, product strategy and operations, or a related field within a B2B SaaS environment. Proven track record of establishing and scaling product operations functions and teams in a high-growth or enterprise setting. Deep understanding of product portfolio management, investment decision-making, and operational excellence. Strong analytical skills with experience capturing and leveraging data and insights to drive decision-making. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align executive leadership and cross-functional teams, especially within the context of a high-growth software organization. Experience implementing best-in-class tools and frameworks to improve product operations effectiveness. Passion for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do: Drive a systematic approach to evaluating, prioritizing, and aligning product investments with business objectives, market opportunities, and customer needs. Define and maintain a structured portfolio of product features and workflows, ensuring visibility and strategic alignment across teams. Establish and scale frameworks, tools, and processes to optimize product development efficiency and cross-functional collaboration. Improve product lifecycle management practices to drive execution excellence. Develop and maintain robust product analytics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track performance, adoption, delivery efficiency, and customer success. Build and maintain strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Sales, Go-To-Market, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams. Ensure a customer-centric approach to decision-making by continuously refining feedback loops and prioritization frameworks. Develop a structured approach to integrating qualitative and quantitative customer insights into the product development process.
Possible salary range: $250,000—$300,000 USD
