Field-based UK Wide - the ideal candidate will be located in North Midlands
Permanent, Full-time, 37.5 hours

- giving our customers the best in class quality service, focusing on the Municipal market, by working on a number of sewage and drinking water treatment sites.
- flexible approach to customers’ needs and working hours is required and may include the need for you to work some weekends and during some public holidays. You will also be included on a rota to provide out of hours cover and rapid response to our clients.
Some responsibilities of a Service Engineer are:
- To develop and maintain good working relationships with customers
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and commissioning work
- Timely submission of work reports, time sheets and all other documentation.
- The timely completion of site tasks and activities as required.
- Offering the client after-sales technical and commercial support and feedback on future product development, features and functions.
- Looking for recommendations and opportunities to improve the clients system
- Undertaking upgrades and refurbishment work.
- Carry out breakdown work – troubleshooting /fault finding.
- Liaise and work with the appropriate sales team.
General requirements for the role:
- Experience as a Service Engineer in the Healthcare and Scientific industry
- A qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with previous client facing experience.
- Knowledge and experience in water treatment is desirable.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Passionate about providing a first-class service to our customers.
- Able to handle challenging conversations with customers and find a resolution.
- A good level of IT competency.
- Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
