ServiceNow Business Analyst is key in bridging the gaps between IT business needs and the ServiceNow platform.
Negotiate with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, analyze processes, and ensure successful implementation of HR and Workplace Service Delivery solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Understand business needs, evaluate features, present to stakeholders.
- Document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for ServiceNow.
- Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Analyze workflows, associate with suites, recommend improvements.
- Advise on innovative automation approaches.
- Identify opportunities for business value from ServiceNow offerings.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Liaison between business teams, developers, and administrators.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings.
- Communicate technical solutions clearly.
- UAT Support:
- Implement changes, support system testing, UAT, and deployment.
- Reporting & Dashboards:
- Define reporting needs and build dashboards.
- Monitor application usage and recommend enhancements.
- Use ServiceNow Performance Analytics to track metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Documentation & Training:
- Create process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
- Conduct user training sessions.
- Maintain documentation on system changes and configurations.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.).
- Experience in business process analysis and workflow automation.
- Ability to create user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience presenting and negotiating with stakeholders.
- 2+ years of overall software-related technical analysis experience
- 2+ years of experience with agile work item management and agile-based requirement methods
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work-streams simultaneously
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certifications: Business Analysis certifications preferred
- Clearance Requirements: US Citizen, Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain.
