ServiceNow Technical Consultant / Developer
Responsible for the technical specification and implementation of the ServiceNow integration.
Provide expertise on all technical questions related to development on of ServiceNow.
Develops the technical solutions, implements them and performs the component integration tests.
Understand the business needs and the needs to standardise processes, and build this into the design.
Understand the large scale thinking and approach needed for success of the project.
Expertise level understanding of ServiceNow required.
Expertise level programming skills.
Have line management responsibility for a number of ServiceNow developers.
Increase customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality consulting services on time and on budget.
Work with our technical architects to implement and deploy leading edge technologies to our customer base.
Identify opportunities to develop solutions for our customers.
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to non-technical audiences.
Ability to address customer business requirements with effective solutions.
Ability to effectively estimate the effort required to deliver results and to correctly set customer expectations.
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organisation with an expanding customer base.
Candidate must be organised and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Advanced experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM and preferable ITOM, CSM and HRSD
Experience presenting and conducting demo reviews with client stakeholder.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.
Understanding and creating technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow.
An advanced understanding of ITSM, ITIL or CMDB
System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies.
Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs.
All scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system including customising using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly and advance flows.
Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs.
