Contractor Site Manager - Serbia

Akuo Energy seeks an experienced Site Manager for its new Serbian Wind farm projects.

Responsibilities:

• Overall site activity follow-up and contractor supervision.
• Reporting to the Project Execution Manager on HSE, E&S, contractual matters, and main construction risks.
• Collaboration with the Project Manager on contractual, scheduling, and budget concerns.
• Representing AKUO ENERGY on site and managing site supervision teams.
• Pre-construction (Belgrade Office): Assisting with project permitting, designing, and documentation; coordination with local stakeholders; and contributing to construction contract setup, including CBOP, eBOP, and site supervision scopes.
• Post-construction (Site): Ensuring smooth execution, minimizing incidents, maintaining schedules, controlling risks, and producing high-quality site management plans.
• Acting as the client representative, managing contractor activities and ensuring compliance with legal standards and positive practices.
• Organizing weekly coordination meetings.
• Supervising site activities, ensuring schedule conformity, quality control, and contractor compliance.
• Managing technical third parties and quality controllers.
• Notifying non-conformances to contractors.
• Managing site supervisors (HSE, E&S, civil, electrical, mechanical).
• Implementing risk mitigation measures.
• Reporting: Producing monthly progress reports on schedule, budget, and overruns; and internal daily/weekly reports and construction meetings.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred).
• Valid driver's license.
• 5-8 years of Site Manager experience in Serbia, with experience in an EPC company preferred.
• Experience with FIDIC rules and wind projects is a plus.
• Strong Serbian and English language skills; French is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
