Full-Time Software Engineer

Our client operates prominently in the financial sector, where we enhance operations across their extensive network of 150,000 workstations and support a workforce of 4,500 employees. Our IT solutions ensure streamlined processes and heightened security, enabling them to maintain their leadership in financial technology. 

The project features a range of applications that address various aspects of banking and user interactions, focusing on developing, monitoring, and analyzing application interface data and program efficiency.

Responsibilities:

 Streamline Test Documentation and Test Case Management: Create, document and organize test cases in AQUA to ensure thoroughness, traceability, and alignment with project objective.
Develop Test Automation: Create, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using Cypress with JavaScript (for both UI and API) .
 Use CI/CD: Use GIT for version control, manage Jenkins pipelines, execute parameterized tests, and generate detailed reports.
Leverage your expertise in German: collaborate closely with team members, be a team player, and adapt to specific contexts.

• 3+ years of experience in Automation Test Engineering
• Experience with Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript for UI and API testing: Proficient in using Cypress for automation testing, including experience with writing, debugging, and maintaining test scripts. 
• Web Technologies: Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and web application behavior.
• Version Control and CI/CD: Familiarity with integrating Cypress with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and using using version control systems like Git.
• Experience with test management and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, and AQUA
• Excellent communication skills in English and German

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of performance and accessibility testing methodologies
• Background in BDD frameworks (Cucumber, CodeceptJS)
