Job Details
Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning customer service with solution guidance and ensuring value realization.
Your Impact
- Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans for cross-platform solutions.
- Positioning, demonstrating, and creating high-level designs across the PANW portfolio based on customer needs.
- Conducting discovery to understand technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
- Collaborating with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams for customer implementation and adoption.
- Demonstrating strong communication skills and influencing through presentations, demos, and workshops.
- Leading successful technical validation efforts based on best practices.
- Orchestrating resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) for a cohesive strategy.
- Promoting end-to-end solutions (PANW and/or partner services) for faster business value realization.
- Understanding the competitive landscape and differentiating leadership.
- Continuously developing technical and professional skills to contribute to customer success.
- Identifying technical stakeholders and building relationships to drive security architecture transformation.
Your Experience
- Understanding of data networking, modern application design, and cloud architectures.
- Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence business initiatives.
- Influencing key stakeholders, ideally with prior presales experience.
- Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
- Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions (Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, SOC Transformation).
- Partnering with Customer Support for successful implementation and adoption.
- Proficiency in German and English.
