Full-Time Specialist Technical Writer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated information developer to contribute to product documentation for our management software team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborating with subject matter experts (Software Developers, Product Managers, Support, Sales) to define technical specifications and use cases.
• Gathering and analyzing data from various sources to create compelling content.
• Developing publication strategies aligning with department standards and project requirements.
• Creating high-quality product documentation in clear, concise English, ensuring readability for both native and non-native English speakers.
• Clarifying terminology and ensuring consistency between the product and documentation.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software documentation, online publishing, API documentation, and user guides.
• Strong technical writing and editing skills.
• Superior command of the English language.
• Proficiency in DITA, XML, MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat, SDL Tridion, oXygen (or equivalent).
• Experience with API tools like Swagger.
• Understanding of topic-based authoring and reusable information architecture.
• Experience using GEN AI.
• Familiarity with agile software development processes (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Project team lead experience is required.

Bonus Skills:

• People management experience.
• Technical writing certification.
