As a Sr Client Strategist for Gaming, you will be the visionary behind high-impact gaming solutions for Fandom’s most strategic clients.
Leveraging your expertise in brand marketing and the gaming vertical, you will develop comprehensive campaigns that align with client objectives.
From concepting custom sponsorships and branded content to integrating off-the-shelf media solutions, you will craft strategies that deliver results.
Working closely with internal teams, you will validate feasibility, manage costs, and ensure profitability while staying ahead of industry trends.
This role demands creativity, collaboration, and a proactive approach to building solutions for gaming clients that resonate with audiences and evolve into scalable offerings.

You Will
- Own setting the strategy and identifying the solutions for Fandom’s largest most strategic gaming clients.
- Leveraging Fandom’s off-the-shelf offering as well as concepting and delivering high-impact custom solutions
- Work directly with sales and clients to understand their goals and objectives, and with internal GTM and Account Management leads to craft the overall Fandom positioning and comprehensive campaign
- Work proactively via QBRs and strategy sessions to position Fandom to align with client goals and objectives
- Deep understanding of the gaming vertical and the types of custom sponsorships and solutions that best resonate with them
- Subject matter expert on Fandom’s media, targeting, content and events
- Work closely with internal GTM, product, content and community teams to validate feasibility of proposed custom solutions before taking to clients
- Scope cost of executing given custom solutions and manage to give a COGS target
- Partner with GTM Strategy on a feedback loop to help take once-custom solutions and ultimately standardize offerings as a repeatable franchise
- Stay ahead of industry shifts, audience behaviors, and emerging trends to inform strategy and creative concepts
You Have
- 5-8+ years of experience in gaming as an ad solutions strategist, client strategist, product marketer, or sponsorship seller at a publisher or social platform
- Deep vertical expertise in Gaming
- Deep experience in media planning/strategy/distribution
- Proven track record of creating and managing custom gaming programs, sponsorships, integrations, and branded content campaigns
- Experience working with creators and developing custom content involving influencers/creators, from concepting to active management
- Experience with scoping the cost of custom content/production development and managing to a COGS target
- Desire to be creative and develop new solutions, while keeping an eye towards standardization
- Ability to operate across budget levels
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbally and via deck creation
- Highly collaborative, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams
