Become a lead contributor and people manager on the NBCUniversal Cyber Security team and make an impact defending corporate resources, building relationships across business lines, and driving cyber defense across the business and the NBCU Enterprise.
This position is responsible for:
- Creating and executing campaign packages to promote key cyber security messages across diverse audiences.
- Being the principal copywriter/copy editor for all content.
- Having experience working with IT and Cyber teams and gaining a deep understanding of NBCU Cyber services, industry-specific business risks, and the evolving cyber threat landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of contributors to ideate, create, execute, and measure communication and marketing campaigns.
- Develop marketing and communications strategies across four threads:
- Service Portfolio: Market cyber security services and communicate engagement process.
- Program Initiatives: Communicate program initiatives and impact on user groups.
- Human Risk Awareness and Training: Create engagement campaigns to educate the enterprise on cyber threats.
- Strategic/Business Status: Support leadership communication, creating content for executive briefings.
- Generate innovative ideas for content, workflow solutions, and communication methods.
- Present information clearly and logically for comprehension.
- Develop content in alternative media forms for usability, maintaining consistent voice.
- Collaborate with business area communication leads, Information Security Officers, service leads, Cyber leadership, and cyber security experts to ensure accurate messaging.
- Identify target audiences for relevant touchpoints.
- Research, outline, write, and edit content.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, events, and programs.
- Develop and manage content for the Cyber intranet, training library, communication workflows, and business briefings.
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement.
- Adhere to brand usage guidelines and develop brand templates.
- Oversee and collaborate with third-party vendors as needed.
- Organize internal virtual and in-person training events.
Basic Requirements:
- 10+ years executing marketing and communication campaigns for Technology and Cyber Security markets.
- Strong copywriting and copy editing skills.
- Ability to translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.
- Strong PowerPoint skills.
- Experience leading lines of questioning for discovery.
- Comfortable driving actions and deadlines with Leadership.
- Experience using project management tools.
- Expert in email marketing best practices.
Desired Characteristics:
- Cyber Awareness and Training experience is a plus.
- Strong graphic layout and design skills are a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Fully Remote position.
- Eligible for company-sponsored benefits.
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 (bonus eligible)
