We are seeking a Senior Principal Product Owner to support a Fortune 100 financial services client’s digital transformation initiatives.
This role will play a vital role in supporting technological advancements and product implementations across the organization. The Senior Principal Product Owner is responsible for the identification, implementation, and optimization of AdTech properties, which are core to the company’s digital advertising efforts.
Working with Marketing, Analytics, Engineering, and third-party agency partners, this individual will determine strategic direction, prioritization, and timeline delivery of AdTech products that meet stakeholder and customer requests.
This high-profile position requires a fundamental understanding of the digital advertising space and AdTech ecosystems. Financial category experience is preferred.
Location: Remote in U.S. (Chicago area preferred)
Duration: Approximately a 6-month consulting role via Blend360 with the goal of conversion to hire

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product vision.
- Lead design, development, and implementation of new product strategies.
- Establish KPIs and OKRs for the product family.
- Define and create prototypes.
- Synchronize with Product Family Product Owners.
- Responsible for definition, guidance, and execution of product activities.
- Set business objectives for product development.
- Validate user story acceptance criteria.
- Ensure appropriate testing frameworks.
- Work with Data Stewards.
- Inspect and evaluate product progress.
- Identify sources, monitor, and analyze product performance metrics.
- Develop and communicate findings, make recommendations for improvements.
- Provide mentoring and fill in knowledge gaps.
- Negotiate and influence others.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Partner with business technology.
- Build a culture of accountability.
- Serve as business lead on cross-functional teams.
- Provide vision and direction to a team.
- Coach team to identify, manage, and escalate risk.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (IT, Engineering, Business, etc.) or 10+ years of experience in Product Management or Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management or Engineering.
- Prior experience in Financial Services or Tech Industry
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in AdTech solutions.
- 8+ years professional experience in AdTech/MarTech.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of digital media campaign activation and AdTech ecosystem.
- Experience with DSPs, DMPs, Social Network Ad Managers, Clean room solutions, and Data Onboarding.
- Interaction with media and marketing partners.
- Ability to gather requirements and work with Engineering teams.
