We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager/Program Manager to join a forward-thinking team in the Oil & Gas industry. This is a technology-driven role that will require an individual who is not only proficient in project management but also passionate about piloting new technologies as well as developing and integrating cutting-edge solutions.
The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in managing large-scale, high-impact CCUS projects, particularly those related to subsurface characterization technologies and pre- & post-combustion capture systems. You will help lead innovative technology programs aimed at improving efficiency, reducing emissions, and advancing sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Technology Pilot Programs: Manage the implementation and piloting of new technologies related to subsurface characterization and pre- & post-combustion capture.
- Project Leadership: Oversee and drive large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Project Appraisal & Feasibility: Conduct project appraisals with a strong focus on emerging technologies in subsurface characterization.
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work closely with research and development teams to evaluate and assess new CO2 processing technologies and post-combustion capture solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Implement risk management strategies.
- Technology Integration: Ensure that the latest technology solutions are seamlessly integrated into the existing engineering designs.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all projects are executed with an emphasis on safety, quality, and environmental performance.
- Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor and control project budgets and schedules.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project engineers and technical specialists.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that projects comply with relevant local, regional, and international regulations.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
- Experience: 6-8 years of experience in project management within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong track record of leading technology-driven projects.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of carbon capture, CO2 sequestration, and emissions management technologies is required.
