Burwood Group is seeking a Contract Sr. Project Manager with a focus in Organizational Change Management to lead a critical transformation project for a major client in the freight industry. This long-term contract focuses on a large-scale initiative requiring hands-on change management expertise and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end to end project delivery across client initiatives, safeguarding quality, scope and profitability
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project roadmaps, milestones and success metrics
- Managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources for Burwood Group or client projects.
- Tracking progress, risks, and dependencies while reporting to leadership and governance bodies.
- Develop process and templates for stakeholder analyses, impact assessments, and readiness evaluations.
- Assist with strategies to identify change risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Design and implement adoption metrics, KPIs, and sustainment strategies.
- Provide guidance on communications planning and enablement strategies to ensure lasting behavioral change.
Who You Are
- 7+ years of experience leading complex technology and business transformation projects
- Proven experience building or executing Organizational Change Management strategies (ADKAR, Prosci, or similar frameworks preferred)
- Highly skilled in the development and execution of communications planning.
- Exceptional communication and facilitations skills, comfortable engaging with executives, delivery teams and end users
- Demonstrated capability in providing ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, or organizational changes.
- Preferably versed in managing work in both Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks
- At least one Project Management-centric certification, preferably PMP or CSM
- Competent in building presentations, process value mapping, workflow diagrams, and SOWs
Nice To Haves:
- Experience leading projects in the freight/logistics industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with CargoWise systems is highly desirable.
