Contractor Sr. Project Manager, Organizational Change Management

Burwood Group is seeking a Contract Sr. Project Manager with a focus in Organizational Change Management to lead a critical transformation project for a major client in the freight industry. This long-term contract focuses on a large-scale initiative requiring hands-on change management expertise and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end to end project delivery across client initiatives, safeguarding quality, scope and profitability
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project roadmaps, milestones and success metrics
• Managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources for Burwood Group or client projects.
• Tracking progress, risks, and dependencies while reporting to leadership and governance bodies.
• Develop process and templates for stakeholder analyses, impact assessments, and readiness evaluations.
• Assist with strategies to identify change risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Design and implement adoption metrics, KPIs, and sustainment strategies.
• Provide guidance on communications planning and enablement strategies to ensure lasting behavioral change.

Who You Are

• 7+ years of experience leading complex technology and business transformation projects
• Proven experience building or executing Organizational Change Management strategies (ADKAR, Prosci, or similar frameworks preferred)
• Highly skilled in the development and execution of communications planning.
• Exceptional communication and facilitations skills, comfortable engaging with executives, delivery teams and end users
• Demonstrated capability in providing ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, or organizational changes.
• Preferably versed in managing work in both Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks
• At least one Project Management-centric certification, preferably PMP or CSM
• Competent in building presentations, process value mapping, workflow diagrams, and SOWs

Nice To Haves:

• Experience leading projects in the freight/logistics industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with CargoWise systems is highly desirable.
