Sr. Technical Consultant, Core Business Transformation Solutions
The Role A Technical Consultant (TC) for ServiceNow Core Business Transformation Solutions is a functional and technical expert in the ServiceNow Expert Services Team focused on customer engagement teams - consulting with customers and configuring the ServiceNow Core Business Transformation Products.
What you get to do in this role:
- Serve as the technical expert in optimizing and leveraging ServiceNow best practices with a strong focus on configuration versus customization.
- Support engagements efforts such as process definition, re-engineering, improvement and gap analysis of current/future-state processes.
- Advise customers in their efforts to take advantage of ServiceNow’s standard capabilities to improve processes.
- Lead customer design workshops focused on ServiceNow Platform and Solution technology.
- Guide customers in completing required documentation, such as business requirement workbooks for technical aspects of the solution.
- Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy and knowledge transfer.
- Guide and provide ad-hoc oversight/training for the customer’s future system administrators.
- Lead technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery.
- Be a lead member of an overall engagement project team.
- Develop integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.) with multiple systems.
- Develop required portal components.
- Prepare all customer-facing deliverables focused on the technology.
- Juggle multiple and complex projects/initiatives.
- Support specific sales activities when required.
- Provide training and mentoring to other team members and partner ecosystem.
- Up to 50% travel annually.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- At least 3+ years of configuring/developing ServiceNow.
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes.
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, and relevant Solution-Specific Certified Implementation Specialist/Accreditation designations).
- At least 5+ years of configuration/development experience for complex HR, Legal, Workplace, and Finance technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks).
- Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO, etc.) and working with SaaS technologies.
- Strong understanding of leading HR, Legal, and related systems and tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer-centric attitude.
- Proven team player and team builder.
