Full-Time Staff Analytics Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

• Design scalable, trusted data models.
• Develop data solutions via dbt, Redshift, and Looker.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and operational leaders.
• Transform complex questions into elegant data solutions.
• Develop a clean, well-documented analytics layer.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Data Science
• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence
• Proven track record of high-quality data models & reporting
• Advanced dbt proficiency (Cloud or Core)
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling best practices (Kimball-style)
• Cloud data warehouse experience, particularly Amazon Redshift
• BI tool experience (preferably Looker)
• Product mindset focused on clean, reusable data assets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Centralized semantic layer experience (multi-team/multi-domain)
• Healthcare/regulated data environment experience (HIPAA/PHI)
• Event-based data model experience
• Comfort with stakeholder interactions, translating data questions
• Data platform/governance initiative experience
• CI/CD practices in analytics engineering (dbt Cloud, Git, etc.)
