Saviynt is seeking an experienced and strategic Staff Partner Solutions Engineer. This technical role is crucial for driving successful partnerships by leveraging technical expertise to support the sales process. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of identity security and architecture, and a proven history of collaboration with partners to achieve sales targets.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Technical Leadership:

  • Maintain knowledge of Saviynt's EIC platform, converged solutions, capabilities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide technical leadership to partners and internal teams, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to promote and sell Saviynt solutions effectively.

Partner Enablement:

  • Collaborate with partners to understand their technical requirements and align Saviynt solutions with those needs to support partner offerings.
  • Develop and deliver technical training programs for partners to improve their knowledge and proficiency in positioning and selling Saviynt products.
  • Assist partners in technical discovery, responses to RFPs, and delivery of proofs of concept (POCs).

Pre-Sales Support:

  • Effectively communicate solution value to business and technical audiences, addressing prospective partner/customer requirements and inquiries.
  • Work closely with partner sales teams to deliver impactful presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept to prospective customers and partners.
  • Act as a technical advisor in the sales process, addressing partner and customer inquiries, and providing technical guidance.

Collaboration:

  • Foster strong relationships with key partners, acting as a liaison between partners and internal technical teams.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to provide valuable feedback from partners and customers, influencing product enhancements.
  • Contribute to partner-led product marketing, webinars, and blogs.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the development of partner sales strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Assess partner technical capabilities and provide recommendations to optimize partner effectiveness.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge such as technical certifications (ISACA, (ISC)² AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Security Engineer, etc.).
  • Minimum 8 years of solutions engineering experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Domain expertise in Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration, Application GRC, and/or Cloud Security. Preferable experience in Identity Governance and Administration, including Identity Life Cycle Management, Entitlements Management, Access Request, Workflow, Policy and Role Management, Access Certification, Audit, Reporting/Analytics, and Deployment Scenarios.
  • Superior communication, relationship, and partner/customer service skills to quickly assess needs and effectively sell solutions with/through sophisticated partners.
  • Strong technical skills enabling configuration and rapid problem-solving in the field.
  • Database query experience in a relational database environment (MySQL and Elastic Search)
  • Experience with Groovy, PowerShell, and Graph API.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols and standards (SAML, OAuth/2, SCIM, OpenID, WS-Trust, SPNEGO, x.509, SPML, Kerberos, REST, JSON, and others).
  • (Preferable) Understanding of data governance concepts and compliance regulations (GDPR & CCPA).
  • (Preferable) Experience with regulatory compliance and security frameworks (SOX, NERC-CIP, HIPAA, Cobit, Center for Internet Security (CIS), Cloud Security Alliance, NIST, PCI, etc.).
  • (Preferable) Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, non-employee governance & administration, non-human identity security, CyberArk/BeyondTrust/Deiinea, Oracle GRC, SAP GRC, fastpath, Pathlock.
