Job Details
The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation (PJMF) seeks a Strategy Analyst to help ensure philanthropic resources are allocated effectively. The analyst will conduct research, perform due diligence, and prepare materials to support grant decisions. They will also monitor trends in the data and AI for good ecosystem and contribute to learning that informs future investments.
- Strategy Development: Maintain understanding of grantmaking focus areas; design landscape analyses; produce portfolio strategy retrospectives.
- Grant Portfolio Development: Identify organizations for funding; prepare recommendation materials; summarize learnings from grant reports.
- Project-based Support: Provide support to the Strategic Capital team.
- 3+ years of professional experience in private, nonprofit, philanthropic, or public sector.
- Working understanding of data science, AI/ML, and technology product development.
