Support Engineer
Resolve tickets with clear, concise, empathetic communication, identifying, debugging, and escalating issues.
Find trends, bugs, and deep dive for root causes, championing resolutions for mission-critical work.
Monitor alerts, resolve issues, and meet customer SLAs.
Actively work on high-priority issues, engineer accurate solutions, and follow up with engineers internally and customers.
Conduct ticket quality assurance and reflect on resolution effectiveness.
Investigate complex customer problems involving data integrity, data feeds, and machine learning.
Help build and improve debugging, triaging, and escalation protocols, including creating dashboards and repeatable queries.
Deeply understand customer needs and act as the voice of the customer.
Grow with the organization and potentially specialize in specific partner needs, or train future teammates.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Support Engineer, data analyst, or similar role.
- 2+ years of SQL experience, writing and understanding queries.
- BSc IT/Computer Science or similar.
- Strong communication skills, concise solutions for non-technical individuals.
- Experience handling high-urgency incidents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and resourcefulness.
- Understanding of data and database structures.
- Experience in retail/supply chain or grocery is preferred.
