Job Summary: This role is for a Systems Administrator based in the US. Remote work is available.
Job Requirements:
- Essential Skills:
- 4-6 years' experience as a Systems Administrator
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (written and oral)
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Microsoft Associate-level certification or equivalent
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Technical Skills:
- Servers: Active Directory, Domain, SSL Certificate, Backups, Antivirus
- Network: Firewalls, Switches, Wireless, Voice, DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, Routing
- Computers: Computer replacement, printer installation
- Applications and Products: Office 365, SharePoint
- Remote Access Systems: VPN, RDS, Citrix, VMware
- Phone Systems: Cisco, Avaya, VoIP, Digital
- Security: Endpoint Security, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-Spyware
- Domain policies, DNS, DHCP
Client Support:
- Deliver operational and project commitments to clients
- Provide exceptional client support, exceeding expectations
- Escalate customer support issues as needed, communicating criticality and timeliness
- Maintain data integrity and security of clients' systems
- Manage clients' internal systems (email, file sharing)
- Keep client documentation accurate and up-to-date, including help desk tickets
