Full-Time System Engineer Backup

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

• You’ll advise our customers in their backup (and restore) strategy by composing / designing future-proof and tailormade solutions adapted to the customer’s business needs and requirements.
•  You’ll get to guide clients in consultancy assignments, acting as their trusted advisor.
• You’ll take the lead in discussions, workshops and brainstorming sessions.
• You’ll also deliver proof of concepts and pilots to demonstrate that your proposals are valuable and technically feasible.
• You’ll contribute to our best practices and guidelines and share your knowledge in teams.
• You’ll come up with proposals for new offers and activities for new business development. You’ll play an important role in our presales activities too, including demos, designs and proposals.
• You’ll be fully involved throughout all stages of a project’s lifecycle:planning: create, test and validate designsbuilding: offer advice and assistanceoperations: provide 3rd level support for clients and the Inetum-Realdolmen Operations Team.
• Do you have at least 3 years experience as a system engineer, familiar with backup technology such as Commvault, Veeam or Avepoint. If you can also call yourself an expert in one of these domains, even better!
• You have a deep understanding of underlying infrastructure layers (primary storage) concepts.
• You are familiar with operating systems (Windows and or Linux) You are experienced in creating designs that match the business and technical goals of your client.
• You like to keep your work well-documented, clear and to the point.
• You know how to take discussions with clients in the right direction.
• You speak fluently Dutch and English. French is a plus.
