This role requires someone at a senior level of mainframe DB2 support.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work closely with mainframe accounts, partners, and customers.
- Perform technical reviews of proposed changes to the NTT environment.
- Provide technical expertise during high severity incidents.
- Review Technical Support incidents for completeness and prevention.
- Provide thought leadership on in-house improvements and 3rd party recommendations.
- Participate in all Mainframe related projects (upgrades, migrations, etc.).
- Provide technical support to the NTT Security Team.
- Maintain BCDR documentation for the Mainframe platforms.
Qualifications:
- Typically requires 10+ years relevant experience.
- Undergraduate/bachelor’s degree.
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience/proficiency with Mainframe DB2 Systems software.
- Experience installing DB2 using SMP/E.
- Installation, customization, testing, and maintenance for DB2.
- Installation, customization, testing, and maintenance for IBM/ISV program products.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management experience and leadership skills.
- 10 years of experience in DB2 performance and tuning.
