The Systems Administrator role plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of SoundStack’s Infrastructure. This role focuses on deploying and maintaining new servers (Windows and Linux), supporting the Incident Management process, and ensuring smooth workflows for new customer deployments. This role is essential to ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of SoundStack’s infrastructure.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Deployment & Maintenance: Deploy and configure new servers (Windows and Linux). Maintain and troubleshoot existing servers.
- Incident Management: Participate in the Incident Management process to resolve issues.
- Customer Deployment Workflow: Support new customer deployments.
- Operational Support: Provide technical support for infrastructure-related issues.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Leverage automation tools, such as Ansible.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain accurate documentation of server configurations.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server deployment.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and infrastructure automation tools.
- Familiarity with Incident Management processes.
- 3+ years of experience in system administration.
- Hands-on experience with server hardware, cloud infrastructure, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and log aggregation systems.

- Successful deployment and configuration of new servers within defined SLAs.
- Incident resolution times aligned with team benchmarks.
