RRD's Packaging & Labels Platforms is seeking a Systems Support Team member as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our System Conversion & Support Team.
The SME will travel to facilities to manage the refresh/conversion of legacy Management Information Systems to Enterprise ERP solutions, supporting Estimating, Planning, Purchasing, Scheduling, and Production Management.
Experience in a packaging print or labels facility is preferred. Travel is required (25% or more).
Responsibilities:
- System Migration SME focus: Business Assessment, Process Assessment, Process GAP Assessment, Solution Implementation, Solution Training, Training Effectiveness Assessment, Process Compliance Auditing, and Solution Compliance Auditing.
- Collaborate on process & training material design, recommend changes based on field experience.
- Provide technical support for web-based delivery methods.
- Identify problems, trends, and performance gaps, developing strategies for high performance.
- May serve as Project Leader for specific programs/projects.
- Communicate with key operational stakeholders to set implementation strategy.
- Apply standard evaluation methodologies for measuring training effectiveness.
- Prepare and distribute participant materials.
- Consult with business units to understand operations and training needs.
- Perform other duties and participate in special projects.
