Full-Time Systems/Infrastructure Engineer

TEKsystems is currently seeking an experienced Systems/Infrastructure Engineer with strong O365 and Intune experience for a 100% Remote contract-to-hire opening.

• VMWare / vCenter
• Cloud - Azure
• Certs-VCP, Azure Fundamentals (or additional Azure certs), MCSE
• BUDR (Back Up & Disaster Recovery)

Essential Functions

Research, design, develop, and implement cloud technologies and systems
Support client service delivery and projects
Manage projects and coordinate resources
Troubleshoot, support, and assist clients with cloud and on-premises technology systems
Develop, operate, maintain, and sustain cloud and on-premises technology infrastructure
Consult with clients to support and troubleshoot system issues

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Demonstrated advanced knowledge of technology systems and
application designs
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of systems principals,
architecture, design, analysis, and troubleshooting
Demonstrated advanced skill in operating server
infrastructure, including automation, in Windows and Linux virtualized
environments
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated project management experience
Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to provide, maintain, update, and monitor Microsoft
365 and Azure services
Ability to work independently and within a group
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing
deadlines and needs

Qualifications

Three to five years' experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, or related field
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field, a combination of experience and education may be substituted
Three years' experience with on-premises virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere
Three years' experience with hyperscale public cloud infrastructure
