Full-Time Technical Accounting Director

What will you do in this role?

• Serve as ICEYE's internal expert on IFRS technical accounting matters, focusing on revenue recognition (IFRS 15).
• Review customer contracts and partner with stakeholders in Sales, Legal, and Delivery to ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Review revenue arrangements to ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Apply judgment to complex revenue recognition rules on diverse sales arrangements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to review and address revenue recognition inquiries/issues.
• Draft technical accounting memos (revenue, capitalization, grants, cost recognition).
• Lead the preparation of annual financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Maintain and develop accounting policy framework and internal procedures.
• Stay current on IFRS pronouncements and implement changes.
• Act as key liaison with external auditors, coordinating audit deliverables.
• Support and guide the GL and reporting team.
• Lead or support ad hoc projects (system implementations, financing, etc.).

Requirements

Technical Expertise: Strong IFRS background (especially IFRS 15), experience drafting financial statements, and prior Big 4 experience (audit or advisory).

Experience & Skills: Proven ability to apply judgment to complex situations, experience working cross-functionally, managing multiple stakeholders, strong written communication skills.

Mindset: Proactive, solution-oriented, collaborative and ownership-driven.
