The Technical Managed Services Consultant at SmartRecruiters is a seasoned professional with deep understanding of Talent Acquisition and HRIT. This role requires a diverse skill set combining technical expertise, project management, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact, internally and externally, for automation and integrations between SmartRecruiters and customer technical ecosystems.
- Work with the Hiring Success Team to ensure customer hiring success.
- Be assigned to a select group of customers, serving as the main contact for custom integrations and automation.
- Act as a Business Consultant, Project Manager, and Developer to assist customers during the Business as Usual (BAU) phase, monitoring and troubleshooting integrations, and implementing small enhancements for hiring success.
- Manage a backlog of questions and enhancement requests related to out-of-the-box HCM Connectors and custom automation.
- Proactively monitor integrations and automation, identifying and documenting common failures or improvements.
- Plan the delivery of integrations, automation fixes, and enhancements based on customer allocation.
- Build integrations and automation enhancements using advanced no-code automation platforms or advise customer technical teams.

- Demonstrate mastery over assignments, using professional concepts and SmartRecruiters’ policies to solve problems.
- Apply practical knowledge of tools, practices, and technologies.
- Work on enhancement requests of small to moderate size, analyzing situations and data.
- Build productive internal and external working relationships.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action.
- Manage tasks autonomously within defined procedures, priorities, and practices.
- Provide standard professional advice and create initial reports for review by experienced team professionals.
- Demonstrate teamwork, ask questions, and challenge status quo bias.
Additional Responsibilities (Continued)
- In-depth knowledge of SmartRecruiters and its automation platform (Workato), staying updated on product updates.
- Strong understanding of SmartRecruiters’ integration capabilities (APIs, out-of-the-box HCM Connectors, embedded automation tools).
- Technical proficiency in HTTP, APIs, Web Services, and familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday, SAP EC, ADP, UKG, Peoplesoft).
- Expertise in authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, SAML, AD, OKTA).
- Solid understanding of coding principles.
- Experience with commercial ETL and middleware tools (Jitterbit, MuleSoft, Boomi).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to design technical solutions meeting business requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Collaborative mindset for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
- Exceptional time management and adaptability.
