Technical Project Manager – Electrical Engineering (Remote)

Compensation: Up to $140,000 annually

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager – Electrical Engineering to lead and oversee renewable energy projects from conception to completion. This fully remote position requires a strong background in electrical engineering design, project management, and leadership within the renewables sector.

1. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
2. Oversee and contribute to the technical design and engineering aspects of electrical systems for renewable energy infrastructure.
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and stakeholders, to drive project success.
4. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
5. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and quality control measures.
6. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
7. Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to align project goals and expectations.

Requirements/Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience within renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage, or related fields).
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation required.
• Strong technical electrical engineering design experience, with knowledge of power systems, grid integration, and energy storage solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
• Experience with electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, SKM PowerTools, AutoCAD) is a plus.
