Veolia Water Technology and Solutions is seeking a Technical Specialist to join the Services Team, providing technical expertise for the remote monitoring platform, InSight.
As a Technical Specialist, implement standardized solutions to modernize data acquisition and trending for various water treatment technologies.
Collaborate with process analysts and field service representatives to efficiently monitor water treatment applications.
- Lead creation of new remote monitoring accounts in VWTS’ InSight platform, including:
- Individual asset setup from input/output taglists
- Hardware setup for remote monitoring
- Installation and connectivity
- Support existing account upgrades and ensure standardization
- Manage hardware obsolescence and replacement programs, supporting new product adoption
- Maintain documentation and master data for InSight hardware and PLC program software
- Provide support to Field Technical Specialists and Process Analysts
- Provide ongoing troubleshooting support to maintain data connectivity
- Provide training to field teams on installation, troubleshooting, and basic InSight operations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- RO and UF process experience
- Rockwell software suite
- Emerson PAC ME software
- Remote troubleshooting
- Google Workspace apps
Education & Experience
- Required: 2-year degree or technical certificate, 2-3 years’ experience with controls and instrumentation, programming experience in various applications (Allen Bradley and Emerson).
- Preferred (if applicable): Certifications in Allen Bradley or Emerson programming.
Working Conditions
- Travel: 1 week per month maximum
- Remote work with some field work
