Job Details
Brightspeed is seeking a Technical Support Specialist responsible for resolving issues related to installation/change service orders and system fallout. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining data integrity of inventory systems
- Partnering with affiliate business units for network information
- Responding to service queues
- Handling customer record assignments for fiber orders
- Maintaining detailed records of actions taken
- Participating in task or focus groups
- Staying informed on departmental procedures
- Must reside in North Carolina
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-2 years of telecommunications experience
- Fluent Excel skills
- Experience with construction prints/schematics
- Knowledge of FTTP, Data, VOIP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work various shifts and overtime
- Associate degree in Electronics/Communications/Computer Science
- Working knowledge of advanced data and video elements
- Proficient use of Excel and macro creation
- Working knowledge of inventory/assignment systems
