Job Details

Brightspeed is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to handle phone and chat inquiries from technicians and business partners, resolving installation issues and system fallouts. Responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining data integrity of inventory systems
  • Partnering with business units for network information
  • Responding to service queues and SLA agreements
  • Handling customer record assignments for fiber orders
  • Maintaining detailed records of actions taken on orders
  • Participating in task forces and staying updated on company procedures
Requirements:
  • Must reside in Missouri
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years of telecommunications or network experience
  • Fluent Excel skills
  • Experience with construction prints and cable schematics
  • Knowledge of FTTP, Data, VOIP
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work various shifts and overtime
Bonus Points:
  • Associate degree in Electronics/Communications/Computer Science
  • Knowledge of data and video elements
  • Proficient in Excel with macros
  • Working knowledge of inventory systems like BOSS, MARTENS, Optius/Odin, DOCS/Ensemble
