Job Details
Brightspeed is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to handle phone and chat inquiries from technicians and business partners, resolving installation issues and system fallouts. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining data integrity of inventory systems
- Partnering with business units for network information
- Responding to service queues and SLA agreements
- Handling customer record assignments for fiber orders
- Maintaining detailed records of actions taken on orders
- Participating in task forces and staying updated on company procedures
- Must reside in Missouri
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-2 years of telecommunications or network experience
- Fluent Excel skills
- Experience with construction prints and cable schematics
- Knowledge of FTTP, Data, VOIP
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work various shifts and overtime
- Associate degree in Electronics/Communications/Computer Science
- Knowledge of data and video elements
- Proficient in Excel with macros
- Working knowledge of inventory systems like BOSS, MARTENS, Optius/Odin, DOCS/Ensemble
