Job Summary: To contribute to our ongoing success and address customer issues effectively, we're seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for providing exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional support to clients, exceeding their expectations.
  • Escalate customer support requests, communicating urgency and confirming escalation acceptance.
  • Prepare desktops, laptops, and other hardware for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and updated customer documentation.
  • Deliver assigned operational and project commitments to clients, coordinating with the customer team as needed.
  • Perform client maintenance activities.
  • Monitor customer alerts, working with the helpdesk to respond appropriately.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet client needs.
  • Demonstrate strong organization, prioritization, planning, and timely delivery of work.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to explain technical challenges and solutions clearly to various audiences.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience as a Desktop Support Specialist or similar role.
  • Prior experience as a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is preferred.

  • Active Directory, File Permissions, Domain, Backups, Antivirus
  • Firewalls, Switches, Wireless, Voice, DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN
  • Computer Replacement, IPCONFIG details, Joint to Domain, Printer Installs, Antivirus
  • User Profile Migrations, Outlook Setup, Mobile Device Setup (email)
  • Office 365, SharePoint, QuickBooks
