Full-Time Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating, organizing, and publishing clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer-facing teams to create high-quality documentation that helps users understand and effectively use EngFlow’s products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, tutorials, and FAQs.
• Organize and structure documentation to enhance usability and accessibility.
• Publish and manage content using documentation platforms and version control systems.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product developments.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for different audiences (developers, DevOps teams, and technical decision-makers).
• Maintain consistency and quality in documentation through templates, style guides, and content reviews.
• Gather user feedback to improve documentation and address common pain points.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in technical writing for developer tools, SaaS, or cloud platforms.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics in a user-friendly way.
• Experience with Markdown, HTML, Git, and documentation tools (e.g., MkDocs, Docusaurus, ReadTheDocs).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, build systems, DevOps, or cloud computing (bonus: Bazel).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with API documentation (Swagger, OpenAPI).
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with developer communities and open-source projects.
