Position Summary: As a Technical Writer, you'll support Nava's Business Development team by creating high-quality proposal content for government opportunities. This role involves translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible prose, leveraging AI and Large Language Models.
What you'll do:
- Draft compelling responses to government RFPs/RFQs.
- Collaborate with team members to translate technical concepts.
- Review and edit proposals for compliance and clarity.
- Master AI tools for content development.
- Maintain a repository of reusable content.
- Ensure proposal templates are up-to-date.
- Participate in solutioning sessions.
- Provide guidance to SMEs on technical content development.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (English, Communications, Technical Writing).
- 5+ years of experience writing for government IT procurement.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear prose.
- Familiarity with AI tools.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Skills: Experience with Agile, human-centered design, or custom software delivery is a plus. Graphic design experience to support proposal narratives is beneficial.
Other requirements: Authorization to work in the US is required. No visa sponsorship is needed. May be subject to security investigations and clearance procedures.
