Full-Time Technical Writer (Italian)

Syrve is a comprehensive POS and Restaurant Management Software solution. It specializes in helping bars, restaurants, takeaways, and other hospitality businesses achieve more with less.

We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to support our growing knowledge base in Italian.

Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and proofread Italian-language content (user guides, release notes, technical support articles).
• Keep the Italian knowledge base up-to-date.
• Create Italian-specific documentation for new features.
• Translate and localize content from English to Italian, including visuals and screenshots.
• Localize UI strings from English to Italian in Smartcat.
• Maintain and grow a consistent Italian-language termbase.
• Translate and adapt training courses from English to Italian.
• Help draft and edit English-language articles (as needed).
• Support chatbot content optimization.

Requirements:

• Near-native Italian (C2 level)
• Advanced English (C1 level or higher)
• Conversational Russian
• Experience in technical writing, localization, or translation.
• Strong editing and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to modify visuals and screenshots (using tools like Snagit, Figma, etc.).
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.
• Experience with SaaS or POS platforms (Nice to have)
• Familiarity with content management systems (Confluence, etc.), translation memory, and terminology tools (Nice to have).
