Full-Time Technician - Nuclear - REMOTE

Konecranes is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to become experienced electrical or mechanical technicians. Technicians work in a safety-first environment and work at heights on mechanical parts.

• Perform maintenance, repairs, modernization, and installation on electric overhead traveling cranes at a nuclear power plant.
• Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting.
• Document findings and provide safety summaries.
• Complete service reports and documents accurately.
• Maintain communication with the service office and supervisor.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicles safely.
• Follow safety rules and procedures.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Skills needed to perform the job well.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field is a plus.
• One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair of electric overhead cranes is required.

• Must have a good driving record and a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing and able to work at elevations.
• Must be able to pass background checks.
• Must be able to work overtime and travel.
• 75-90% Travel required.

Vacation: 2 weeks of vacation per year (pro-rated for the first year depending on start date). 5-12 years of service, 3 weeks. 13+ years of service, 4 weeks.

Sick Leave: 5 days of Sick Leave per year. Pro-rated the first year after 90 days of service

Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year
