Transmission Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Conducting evaluations and analyses to support central planning and ensure compliance with MW budgets.
• Network monitoring for directional radio expansion and compliance.
• Manage directional radio frequency applications, contract interface, planning and ordering, and supplier/internal contact coordination.
• Strategic transportation network planning.
• Participate in agile working groups (CoC).
• Take ownership of assigned tasks from CoC Kanban Boards.
• Coordinate planning and ordering processes (microwave).
• Evaluate and manage microwave roll-out and coordinate with regional planners.
• Network design evaluations and report preparation, coordinating with suppliers and internal contacts.
• Request implementation/database documentation from relevant units to expedite rollout.
• Generate high-quality reports for quality assurance.
• Maintain status values and comments in databases.
• Demand timely implementation from responsible departments.
• Support and maintain interfaces to ongoing roll-out/development projects.
• Check triggers and KPIs and manage necessary measures.
• Create plan routings in planning software for end-to-end connectivity.
• Follow up on microwave frequency permit application/allocation.

Qualifications:

• ServiceMaster's degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
• Experience in planning and coordination within mobile networks, especially transport aggregation networks (Ethernet, IP, fiber).
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Spotify).
• Knowledge of transmission network planning (especially fiber).
• Knowledge of project management.
• Knowledge of general contractor and vendor management.
• Knowledge of MW (FH)PDH, SDH, Hybrid or ALL IP Link Budget, LOS (Line of Sight), Survey Links Design (GPS Coordinates), DCN, Microwave installation, Aligning XPD, XPIC, Ethernet Over SDH, STMx Switching Mode, SNCP, Waveguide, Coaxial Cable.
