Job Details
We are seeking a full-time Travel Consultant.
Experience: Previous travel consulting experience and excellent travel product knowledge are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Determine client travel requirements and advise optimal itineraries based on best routes and cost.
- Make and confirm reservations using GDS.
- Inform clients about travel dates, baggage limits, special requests (meals, wheelchairs, bassinets), visa requirements, and relevant information.
- Interpret fare rules and advise clients on fare rules and conditions.
- Collect payments, issue receipts, relevant documents, and travel tickets.
- Advise clients about schedule changes in a timely manner.
- Follow internal workflows using CRM and mid-office applications.
- Make follow-ups and address client concerns effectively.
- Maintain professional and positive client interactions.
Competencies:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Travel Consultant
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in GDS
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office or Google Docs)
- Familiarity with CRM
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness and ability to learn
- Graduate degree in any discipline
- IATA Qualification or equivalent, along with industry experience
