Full-Time US Privacy & Governance Lead

About This Role The Global Privacy Office provides direction and support to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations, through policies, training, and monitoring.

What You’ll Do

• Privacy Program Management: Ensure global privacy program execution, SOP development, governance, and communication.
• Information Governance Program Management: Execute data lifecycle management strategy, define policies, and drive regulatory compliance.
• Privacy by Design: Provide guidance on use cases involving personally identifiable information.
• Business Consultation: Work with business partners on new use cases involving data handling.
• Regional Compliance: Assist with implementing compliance measures worldwide.
• Monitoring and Compliance: Monitor regulatory activities and ensure awareness of changes.
• Audit and Assess: Support measurement and auditing on privacy policies and standards.

Who You Are

• Results-oriented leader with experience navigating ambiguity
• Collaborative business partner with deep understanding of US data privacy regulations
• Deep understanding of personal data, data management, and information governance

Skills and Experience

• 12+ years experience in increasing responsibility
• 8+ years legal or data-driven roles
• 7+ years in privacy roles (Biotech/Pharmaceutical preferred)
• Knowledge of US privacy regulations (marketing/Adtech)
• Excellent communication and explanation skills

Technical skills

• Technical aptitude and understanding of IT systems
• Project management skills
• Experience managing and developing junior team members
• Matrix environment experience

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree (Master's/Law degree preferred)
• IAPP CIPP, CIPM, and/or CIPT certification (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation: $169,000 - $281,000

• Eligible for LTI grants and other incentives
