Full-Time Virtualization Administrator with French

We are seeking technology enthusiasts who enjoy problem-solving and helping others. As a Virtualization Administrator, you'll manage, maintain, and optimize VMware virtualized environments for client infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain VMware platforms (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
• Manage virtual resources (CPU, memory, storage) for optimal performance.
• Implement and monitor snapshots, clones, and virtual machine migrations (vMotion, Storage vMotion).

Incident Diagnosis and Resolution:

• Diagnose and resolve virtualization incidents, escalated from Level 1 support.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with network, storage, and security teams to resolve cross-functional incidents.

Automation:

• Develop and maintain scripts (PowerCLI, PowerShell) for automating tasks.

Reporting:

• Create regular reports on environment status and interventions.

Language Skills:

• Strong command of French and English (B2/C1 level).

VMware Expertise:

• Advanced expertise in VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.

Storage Knowledge:

• Mastery of shared storage concepts for virtualization (SAN, NAS, vSAN).

Networking Protocols:

• Knowledge of network protocols associated with virtualization (vSwitch, VLAN, NSX).

Scripting Skills:

• Experience with PowerCLI or PowerShell for automation.

OS Understanding:

• Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems in a virtualized environment.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical skills and relational sense.

Team Collaboration:

• Ability to work collaboratively.

Priority Management:

• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
