Full-Time Virtualization Infrastructure Specialist

Planning, standardization, and further development of the global virtualization infrastructure.

Working on strategic projects and proof of concepts.

Administration of VMware virtual environment using vSphere spanning multiple data centers and networks.

1. Installation, configuration, and upgrading of VMware vCenter server
2. Installation and configuration of VMware ESXi hosts and witness appliances
3. Document, review, and update system administration guides and procedures.
4. Configure, troubleshoot, and migrate vSAN datastores.
5. Configure and troubleshoot VMware VDS.

Provide follow-up reports (technical findings, feedback, resolution steps taken) for Root Cause Analysis, engineering technical assessment, and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with virtualization environments.

Expert knowledge by working on VMware virtualization products from versions 6.7 to 8.

Experience using the vSphere CLI.

Good knowledge in central and de-central hosting of ESXi Hosts and vCenters.

Concept, implement, monitor, and migrate vSAN clusters between vCenters.

Documenting configurations and work together with other experts.

Knowledge in Cloud platforms and feel comfortable to work with.

Know how to handle VMware networking and VDS.

Good knowledge in Windows Server and Linux operating System.

Motivated to introduce yourself in newer technologies and products.

Expertise in other SDS systems are beneficial.

VMware and Azure Certificates are an advantage.
