Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, leads the technology infrastructure strategy, roadmap, and execution for the enterprise.
Planning, project management, and implementation leadership; identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement.
Provides infrastructure services vision; enables innovation; seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company’s requirements and expectations.
Development and implementation of mature Infrastructure service management processes.
Conducts product and vendor evaluations ensuring best-in-class technologies and partners. Works closely with and manages strategic vendor partner relationships. Setup and run the Governance with the partners.
Builds strategic relationships for creating value for the organization.
Participates in the formulation of the company's enterprise architecture and business system plans; assessing cost and feasibility, and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business.
Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership, and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades, and operational troubleshooting.
Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, highly available network architecture, and supporting SAAS implementations.
Closely manages Infrastructure budget.
Leadership for delivery of 24/7 service operations and KPI compliance.
15+ years of work experience with a BS/MS in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, Science or Math, or at least 12+ years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA). Professional Level English fluency both verbal and written.
12+ years IT Infrastructure experience
10+ years leadership experience
5+ years experience leading remote teams, including outside of the US.
Clearly demonstrates the ability to independently and rapidly transform a complex business need from an initial concept or vaguely defined requirement into a well-articulated plan with clearly scoped technical deliverables and well-established timelines; demonstrates capability to align effectively with business stakeholders, superior tactical execution, and strategic planning capabilities.
Demonstrates the ability to regularly drive the conception and development of extremely high-quality deliverables to completion on schedule with minimal guidance, input, and supervision; lucidly and concisely communicates plans and strategies; experience with end-to-end project management.
Operates effectively with many stakeholders throughout the business. Easy to business with. Effectively negotiates commitments in a manner that respects business priorities and provides context around costs, risks, and workable timelines.
Experience in an acquisitive organization. Effectively supports the timely onboarding of relevant infrastructure within the acquisitions.

Demonstrated success leading a direct team in a rapidly growing organization.

Experience leading both build and run.
Extensive experience with Azure and the Microsoft infrastructure stack including O365.
Experience defining and implementing ITIL processes.
Experience in global organization / multi-country environment.
Experience with regulatory compliance issues, as well best practices in application and network security.
Highly collaborative with a high level of attention to detail.
Other Travel minimal
May be fully remote (high-speed stable internet and quiet working environment required) or based in Medellin Colombia or Mexico City.
