Mediavine is seeking a VP of Advertising Solutions to join the Revenue department.

Position Overview: Drive revenue growth by leading a high-performing sales team and managing relationships with retailers, brands, agencies, and DSPs. Focus on strategic alignment, team management, and collaboration. Reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. Will work cross-departmentally to deliver market-leading solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead revenue accountability for partnerships.
- Attract, develop, and mentor a high-caliber sales team.
- Manage prospect pipelines and ensure alignment across sales, account, and demand teams.
- Forecast revenue, analyze sales performance, and develop operational processes.
- Develop and manage the sales budget.
- Build, maintain, and manage relationships with prominent brands and agencies.
- Achieve annual revenue goals and manage key accounts.
- Collaborate with Analytics and Advertising Technology teams to set rate cards.
- Partner with marketing to create sales materials and organize events.
- Attend industry events and participate in thought leadership activities.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with partners (SSPs, DSPs, Comscore, etc.).
- Represent Mediavine in industry groups (IAB, Prebid, etc.).
- Travel approximately 30% of the time.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in programmatic advertising, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in building high-performing sales teams (remote experience preferred).
- Established relationships with SSPs, DSPs, and AdTech vendors.
- Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience negotiating complex deals.
- Financial oversight experience (budget management).
- Experience as a speaker at industry events.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM tools (HubSpot or Salesforce).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership skills (inclusive culture).
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability to travel.
