Full-Time Windows Systems Engineer

Experian is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team within the Clarity Business Unit.

Your role will encompass various aspects of system problem-solving using your technical expertise across applications, services, and servers.

You will work collaboratively with a team to deliver quality results efficiently.

You will report to the VP, IT Operations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing and monitoring infrastructure and systems (configuration, testing, maintenance).
• Identifying potential issues and implementing proactive solutions.
• Administering and optimizing hosts and servers for high availability and resource management.
• Installing and configuring operating systems, software, and systems while documenting procedures clearly.
• Collaborating with other teams for operational and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical expertise in operating systems, networking protocols, database management, and system administration tools.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills for resolving complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience with Splunk or similar platforms.
• 1+ years of experience with Ansible.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios and PMM.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Ruby, Python, Bash, etc.).
