Full-Time 3D CAD Artist (Jewelry Design)

We’re helping our client, a leading e-commerce jewelry brand, find a skilled 3D CAD Artist to create precise, high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renders of fine jewelry pieces.

In this role, you’ll transform sketches and concepts into production-ready 3D assets while ensuring exceptional attention to detail, materials and craftsmanship for e-commerce presentations.

• Develop and refine intricate 3D jewelry designs (e.g., rings, pendants, earrings) using industry-standard CAD tools such as RhinoGold, Matrix, ZBrush, or Blender.
• Optimize models for high-resolution rendering (KeyShot, V-Ray, Octane) to generate e-commerce-friendly visuals, including multi-angle views, zoom details, and lifestyle shots.
• Verify the production readiness of CAD files, ensuring structural integrity, proper gemstone settings, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with designers to accurately translate sketches and concepts into 3D assets.
• Retouch renders by adjusting lighting, materials, and reflections to achieve hyper-realistic presentations.
• Maintain a structured digital library of 3D assets for efficient reuse.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in jewelry CAD software (e.g., RhinoGold, Matrix, or equivalent).
• Extensive experience with rendering tools (KeyShot, Blender Cycles, or V-Ray).
• Understanding of jewelry fabrication processes, including casting, stone setting, and polishing.
• Ability to produce clean, watertight models suitable for 3D printing and production.
• A portfolio showcasing jewelry-focused 3D work, encompassing both CAD models and final renders.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with AI tools for rapid prototyping, such as AI-assisted design iterations.
• Experience with AR/3D product configurators for e-commerce applications.
