What does an Account Director, Market Access do? Provides leadership in developing and leading strategic and tactical marketing plans for clients. Focuses on engaging traditional market access stakeholders (health plans, pharmacy benefit management companies, integrated delivery networks) and HCP/patient initiatives addressing access and reimbursement. Counsels clients on effective payer marketing strategy based on research, data, best practices, and market access dynamics. Accountable to senior client level, provides advice, maintains relationships, and identifies additional opportunities. Provides research, analytical metrics, and strategic insights to develop effective market access solutions. Oversees and leads the implementation of project plans, delivering results on budget, target goals, and objectives with the client. Collaborates with other Account Directors, EVERSANA INTOUCH departments and agency partners to enhance integrated solutions.
What are we looking for?
- 8-12 years of related experience: market access client service, agency, and pharmaceutical experience.
- Expertise in market access marketing, including all phases of the commercialization lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- Ability to conceptualize innovative solutions aligning to brand and market access strategic imperatives.
- Strong strategic skills and business acumen.
- Digital, media, and technology marketing experience is a plus.
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong track record of business development through client relationships.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Effective collaboration skills internally and externally.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Some travel may be required.
