The role requires senior level knowledge and experience working cross-functionally both inside Global Brand & Creative and across Marketing to plan and execute successful integrated marketing and communications efforts, including deal support and RFI and RFP responses.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic relationships with GB&C and lead the day to day operations of assigned Account Pods.
- Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships on behalf of GB&C in pursuit of integrated marketing and communications outcomes.
- Inspire, oversee, and coach or correct teams to simplify processes, grow skills and mindsets, and perform at ever-higher levels.
- Identify and relentlessly remove barriers to the seamless creation of valuable creative that achieves business goals and drives our marketing engine.
- Provide strategic input and project oversight through the following:
- Meet with business partners regularly to discuss their content and channel needs.
- Communicate those needs to the creative team and work with the team to develop recommendations and integrated planning.
- Collaborate for consensus with business partners on the project plans, scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Along with the Account Pods, monitor the scope, budget, and schedule; reporting any changes as they happen.
Accountability
- Understand the business goals of your assigned accounts and ensure that project requests are aligned with the company’s top priorities.
- Ensure that each project coming into the GB&C delivers maximum business value in its undertaking.
- Strengthen our team’s understanding of business needs and changing strategies as the “boots on the ground” where business need meets project execution.
- Lead the day to day operation and alignment of all Pod members—Project Managers, Channel Strategists and Creative Directors.
- Assess the ongoing needs of Business Partners and recommend adjustments to GB&C in response to emerging changes—team skill composition, project type and method, workflow alterations, other proactive mitigations.
Skills & Experience
Required:
● 7+ years' experience in progressive project and account management roles in creative organizations, including leading project managers in project execution.
● 7+ years’ experience as a people manager.
● Ability to think creatively as well as strategically.
● Experience supporting full-spectrum creative from marketing to sales support.
● The ability to have fun and bring a specific superpower to our team.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, business or a related discipline required.
MBA or other master’s degree in a related field preferred.
